Tonight NM plays in ATL. I am somewhat new to ATL and have never been to the venue where they are playing.

I go onto mapquest and get a map, drive to location, nothing, nada, zip. The phone number listed is wrong, cant call and get directions. Spend 2 /12 hours driving around in POURING rain, almost got into a wreck, etc.

Long story longer, I missed the GD show.

Shit that sucks.... one of my first concerts, the one person who was supposed to go with me ditched me to get high somewhere across the state.... I was so fucking pissed, then at the last minute, i decided, fuck it, I'll just go alone, even though ive only been to the venue once and I had no idea how to get there.... I ended up driving back and forth on some god damn highway for an hour.... I knew the show was starting soon, which sucks because I like to be as early as possible..... I was about to turn back until I finally saw the place..... so I actually did make it, but I know how you feel....

I was late, so i didn't get in front, which basically made it impossible for me to see the band at the venue, so it did kinda suck....

Yeah, I was by myself on this one too. Well got to jam to NM in car for 2 1/2 hours, so guess not all bad.
 
I know how you feel...

When I was going to see Opeth with Tapping the Vein and Paradise Lost, we got to the venue and everything. We endured Tapping the Vein and barely made it through Paradise Lost. After PL finished, it was around midnight and my ride tells me he has to go home because his birthday party is going on (his family really should have asked if he had plans that day)...I made a few calls to see if I could find another ride but nope

So I went home without seeing Opeth...I was so pissed

He's taking me to see COB & Nevermore to apologize, so I'll be damned if I miss this one
