a) I wonder if Bill Gates initially paid Sony to do it...

Kitty, is that Neil Diamond the Rick Rubin thing?

We discussed him here as a guilty pleasure once. I don't actually own anything, but my mom was mad for him when I was a kid (we are of roughly the same generation, you and I) and so he still somehow holds a place on my radar. When I heard about the Rick Rubin project I must admit I was intrigued.

Assholes at Sony....they got just what they deserved.

I heard a couple songs from that new Neil Diamond. I'll admit, the songwriting sounded good. But it's still really mellow, basically acoustic sounding and very laid back tempo. Kinda reminded me of some of the songs off of Jonathan Livingston Seagul.
