Soul Brains

I presume most of you know of the Soul Brains aka the original Bad Brains line up. I had the oppurtunity to see them last night at the chance in Poughkeepsie and let me tell you it was a fuckin blast. Murpys Law opened up an as usual Jimmy G was hilarious on stage.. The Brains where tighter then a virgins hole and HR sounded great... My only complaint was they played way to much reggae and not enough punk. And when the fuck did HR need a colostumy bag.. For 50 years old he isnt lookin so good poor man was moving around the stage like Ozzy on vicoden.. But in his defense of all the live albums and bootlegs ive heard by these guys, HR never sounded better then last night. If any of you get a chance to see them on this tour do so.
Oh, and if any of you do go watch there bassist Daryl jam. This dude is the fuckin man....

wow thats weird... i did catering/was a runner for them when they played in MA a few years ago.... they were all super nice... and all seemed in great shape... sucks that he has lost his energy.

they were really good when they played here.... but i only got to see bits and pieces cuz i was running around doing errands for everyone
