eh? anyone notice that these sogns are almost exactly the same? with 2 main riffs being nearly identical just lower/higher key? man that's kinda weak but they both kickass so im not complaining!

Nah, definitely not exactly the same - although The Sound of Eight Hooves resembles the masterpiece quite a bit.

The Last With Pagan Blood fucken shred the other one to pieces though.

I never noticed the similairity myself, and Last With Pagan Blood is probably my favorite song... I'll pay attention next time I hear that song...

im far from a musician, but i can hear that these songs are pretty similar, but i like them both, i dunno maybe pgan a little bit more...
