Is anyone else a fan of this band? Aside from...um, no one, apparently... , Italian power metal hasn't impressed me for a LONG time, but I'm really digging their latest album Immortalia. It's power metal with teeth; as much Lost Horizon as Rhapsody. Good stuff!

Well, you have to admit Mob Rules has more of an Italian power metal style than the typical German sound. That's my excuse anyway!

And yes, Sound Storm (who are Italian) kick ass. It's nice to hear a symphonic power metal album that doesn't make me feel vaguely embarrassed.
