I noticed a lot of people are using Soundcloud, so I made a custom bbcode for you all to use if you like.

All you have to do is one of two things:

1) use the soundcloud button on the toolbar when creating a new thread or when you're using the full reply screen (orange soundcloud logo).

2) wrap your url with the [.soundcloud.] bbcode (without the dots). Example: [.soundcloud.]http://soundcloud.com/ahjteam/sets/debut-album[.soundcloud.]

You can see what it looks like below:

[SOUNDCLOUD]http://soundcloud.com/ahjteam/sets/debut-album[/SOUNDCLOUD]

Hope you enjoy it! :headbang:

Every track I've heard on SoundCloud so far sounds like a bad mp3 so I checked:
Does SoundCloud apply bit-rate compression when I upload tracks ?
In order for users to hear music rapidly on the SC platform, we re-encode every track to high quality 128 kbps Mp3s. However, if you make your file « downloadable », then the users who have access to it will be able to download the original file (whether it’s Aiff, Wav or Mp3).

Which is kinda like dropbox with preview I guess.

I'm talking about this section of our forum. Few people would want mix/tone feedback based on 128kbps Mp3, even if it's true that a great mix is great despite a less than ideal bit-rate.
