Edit: Cornell has got to be one of the most under-appreciated vocalists of all-time. His work on Temple of the Dog is jaw-dropping.

So I've listened to this album many times over the past few days and all I can say is God Fucking Damn. Still sounds so fresh and amazing, many years later.

And seriously, there is nothing ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY NOTHING heavier than the opening riff to 4th of July. It doesn't make any sense! I love it!

Back when I was just getting seriously into music (1992 I think) the local metal channel played Slaves and Bulldozers and Outshined all the damn time and I went OMGWTF. A few years later I sold Badmotorfinger but have since purchased another copy. Don't know what in the god damn I was thinking, but at least I sold it to a friend.
