Which your opinion on them they are one of my favourit bands, I love the CD Down On The Upside. Whats your opinion on the band.

They were probably my most favorite band for a very long time before I started exploring metal. I recently found a used copy of SOMMS in a little music store, so I got to a wish I've had for about 5 or 6 years now.

Unlike you, HarmonyDies, Down on the Upside was probably my least favorite of all their albums. Badmotorfinger and Superunknown were the ones I thought to be the best not only overall, but that have the lion's share of the best songs as well. "Holy Water," "Limo Wreck," "Jesus Christ Pose," "Fresh Tendrils," "Like Suicide," all were my most favorite songs... then on UMO.K. There was also that cool 665 song where if you play it backwards, he's singing "Hail Santa, my Christmas King!" and who could forget "Beyond the Wheel"?

*Sigh...* Good memories.

I like Superunknown best. I've heard them all, and it's my favorite. I'd go with Down Up the Upside as my 2nd favorite though. I'm eagerly awaiting Civillian.

Nope. It's the band featuring Cornell and the other three guys from RATM. There's no rapping. I don't think it's going to be political either. Not sure about the political part, but the rap part, I'm abosuletly positive.

I never really got into RATM, and one thing I always wondered was whats the big deal about the guitarist (what's his name? Tom Morello or something right?) I mean, I was always hearing about how great he is, and I never really heard anything special..

You forgot to mention Louder Than Love. What an album, especially "Loud Love".

Badmotorfinger is probably their best, Cornell really proved himself as a fine lyricist with the likes of Rusty Cage or Outshined.
Superunknown comes in a close second but only because " Fresh Tendrills", "Fell on Black Days", "The Day I Tried To Live" and "4th of July" are there.

Superunknown was a cool album. They're an innovative band.

Oh yeah, and Tom Morrello sucks. The media 'thinks' hes good cuz he uses a dozen effects at once and uses a whammy pedal....what bullshit.
