So what does everybody think?

When I saw them at Metalfest last summer, they were great, but I thought the new songs they did weren't particularly good. Now that I know zetro is not singing them, I'm even less interested.

I'll guess I'll still check it out, but I don't know...

If it is a s you said that new songs were bad, let them "rust in peace" ;)

I always liked Exodus. Bonded By Blood was excellent. In fact, I prefer them to Megadeth. I doubt I'll get the new album though, because I always liked the original Exodus vocals. Might download some of it though...

Here's my take on this:
1) Who would sign a band that'll be lucky to push 5,000 units in the USA alone?!
2) This will be singer #3, how many times can one go to the well?!
3) I personally like "steve" better than "paul" but that's me. I think I would have a hard time buying something by a band that had a record that 20 years ago had this cult following(and never really made it) & now they are in their mid-40's?!
The question would I buy it(new record)?
Probably not.
I don't even think there will be a next record.
You watch.

Fuck, I'd buy it if I could afford it. Or actually find it in New Zealand... And I'm with you Sixxswine, I've always preferred Steve Souza to Paul Baloff. Have you heard his contributions on Testament's First Strike Still Deadly? Best songs on the album.

Wow, here I thought I was the only one who liked Steve's vocals better.:) I think a name change is in order unless the new guy can pull off the true old school thrash vocal style...which most today seem to fail at.

I prefer Souza to Baloff myself. However, there is no way they should change their name, even with a new singer. Exodus is about Holt, Hunolt, and Hunting. If those guys are together, it IS Exodus.

Actually yes! That was the main reason I bought that one.
That's one of those collections that worth every cent! One of my faves from the Souza era was Objection Overruled. That one just shreds!

You're right that they are keys members that should be involved if they were to continue as Exodus...
