speaking of RPG's... who's grabbing Age of Conan?

Sure we had a thread about it earlier, but of course the constant push backs of the game have made that thread, if it exists, out dated.

Anyway, May 20th is supposedly final release, as they've finished setting all the prices and rumor mill has it that its hitting the pressing plant.

I'm hoping its not too hellish on hardware. when I play mmorpg's, I play them for 20 hours a day. So I'm hoping to spare my hardware a bit.

Pretty pissed about the open beta starting thursday being stopped at level 13. So I'll get about 3 hours of gameplay in and then wait for the 20th to roll around, haha.

Yeah the open beta is a joke IMO. You won't get to see much of the game if you're capped at lvl 13th. And why 13th? Weird number to me.

So many people trying to get the keys its hillarious. I got one since I participated in the technical beta shit, granted usually companies give a little more than a shitty open beta key for that. Usually we get a free month of gameplay or something similar.

Then again, this is Funcom we're talking about.

If it wasn't for MGS4 coming out, I'd agree.

If anything has jumped the shark, its the Wii. That things jumped something like 8 sharks after the release of Twilight Princess, then in regressed back to 7 when No More Heroes came out, and now its up to 12 fucking sharks jumped.

Worst purchase I have ever made.

Starcraft looks unoriginal and boring. Did you see the screenshots for the next Warhammer 40k?? They're using a new engine and boy, it looks impressive.

Edit: I didn't notice that the Conan game was an mmorpg, please excuse my ignorance. However I've played Mmo's before and I get mighty angry at the lack of gameplay once you reach the top level. I can't imagine this being any better.

Funny I was bitching about the cap and what not, since today I got the full install in the mail and a key... which I'm assuming isn't for the open beta, haha.

Yep... I'm right. Lol, the client is fucking huge, not certain at this point but I know its more than at the moment 10gb. My guess is its gonna be towards 20gb by the end of the day.
