Here is some quite interesting Freemason information - http://freemasonrywatch.org/tracingboard.html

Shriners are NOTHING!! You are basically a bunch of working Mexicans

Aleister Crowley (12 October 1875 – 1 December 1947), the most controversial occultist in modern times, dubbed the "wickedest man alive." There's much dispute as to his official status as a mason. The Grand Lodge of British Columbia and Yukon, however, admits to his initiation into Craft Freemasonry in Anglo-Saxon Lodge No. 343. Crowley was also conferred the degrees 33°, 90° and 96° of the Antient and Primitive Rite of Masonry, Disciples of Memphis by John Yarker. Throughout his career, Crowley was as much influenced by Freemasons as he in turn had influence on them.

Crowley has generated an intense following since his death. He has influenced countless disciples and gave birth to Satanism. Proclaiming to be the magus (and great Beast 666) of the "new age of Horus," he saw himself as the usher, or prophet, of a "new Aeon" of illuminism.

I know plenty and now think you are a fake. First off, I find it interesting that you stated above that you pledge the allegiance and say a prayer.. Your not allowed to talk about "anything" that goes on behind closed doors!!

I can join a Freemason group if I choose, and fully understand the procedures on how to become a member.

Actually sir, our annual dinner is open to the public. Those "oaths" are just old traditions. I belong to Logan Elm Lodge # 624 if you want to look it up.
When a meeting is called to "session" in the EA, Fellowcraft, or Master degree, then it is no longer open. The prayer and pledge are for everyone.
The "penalties" for talking are symbolic in nature my friend.

BTW, I cordially invite you to any of our meetings as a prospective Entered Apprentice. So you can see how "evil" we are :). At our next meeting the sheriff wil be on hand, to make picture id's for neighborhood children. SOOOOOO sinister LOL

That's like the Elk's or Lion's Club having their public Pancake Breakfast.

Like I said, there are soooooooooooo many different levels and groups of Masons. It's like different denomonations of Christianity - Catholic, Baptist, Lutheran..etc

What goes on in a real Masonic temple is 100% private and no public allowed. There are no applications given out to be a Mason. No Masons are allowed to recurite public to become Masons. A person who is interested in becomming a Mason, must apply on his own free will , or know a Mason and ask that Mason he is interested in joining.

Tis' true. But we have begun recruiting again, as our numbers started to dwindle. We are not supposed to "ask" but rather say "You'd make a good Mason!" Thus, prompting you to ask. Also, all degrees can be obtained in one day, nationwide, once a year. Our numbers are back through the roof.
