SPL Goldmike 9844

What do you guys think about the SPL Goldmike 9844 preamp ? This is a good brand obviously, but about this particular preamp?
And what other preamps of the same price range (more or less 400/500 euros) would you recommend ?

really nice preamp by fmr - not a tube one but it seems like this one is the killer in its pricerange - will be my next choice, for sure!! 500 €
