Spys 4 Darwin

Heard of these fucks? Chris DeGarmo, Sean Kinney, Mike Inez, and the dude from Sponge, I guess they only released one EP a few years ago.

I remember stumbling across this shortly before the EP was released, and then of course completely forgot to ever check them out, and the EP looks pretty hard to find now.

Any help? Fry? Bueller?

I tried to buy it when it came out, and I even had a hell of a time back then.

so I gave up and downloaded it...........

basically the sound is what I expected

guitar is pretty much straight from Hear In The Now frontier, but when its paired up with such a badass rhythm section, it makes for a much better style than it did there.

and vocals are typical sponge.

so nothing unexpected.. but it all comes together quite well

I listened to it a couple of times, but it doesn't leave much of an impact.

I did wish these guys would've stayed together, I think if they had worked together a bit longer and put out a full length, it would've been some awesome shit.. here, it ends and I feel unsatisfied, though its still an enjoyable listen
