I song write a lot and for me the ez drummer gets it done sometimes... but a lot of times the samples sound fake... and the ability to create what I want such as a miss may may I type song or a asking alexandria type song with fills, breakdowns and realistic sounding drum mixes is very difficult in DFH/Metal Heads...

Could forum members post pros and cons on both and/or personal experiences on working with both from their perspective...

Im new to this forum but from what i've heard sturgis lives by SSD which I suppose should be reason enough to purchase... lol

Cons: everyone uses ssd and you're using the same sounds as everyone else

Pros: they are great samples

People also rave a lot about superior drummer 2 but I've never used it

if it sounds fake, it's your programming. EZ drummer and superior are both good drum samplers.
they can be spottet in a mix very easy but if you mix in other samples and progream right this combo can sound awesome!

cheers
