Starofash - Lakhesis (Ihsahn, Leprous, Ulver)

I have never seen this mentioned here, but since I know a lot of people here dig Ihsahn and Leprous, I figured I'd share this.

Starofash is the project of Ihriel (Ihsahn's wife, who's also in Peccatum). This is killer stuf - the only way I can describe is a mixture of The Gathering, Ihsahn, Leprous, some light electronica and trip hop... Her latest release, "Lakhesis" features Ihsahn (who co-wrote almost everything if I'm not wrong), Einar from Leprous and some members of Ulver (not sure who).

I never paid attention to the band before, but I like these two new tunes. Checked out their older stuff, and it is not for me. Something about these new tracks though...

I also didn't care too much for the earlier material, but this is good indeed.

Ihsahn also took part on the project Hardringrock, which basically mixes traditional, folk Norwegian music with rock and metal. Ihsahn and his wife sing it all in Norwegian, it's very very good stuff as well:
