Having turned into a little bit of an audio snob in the last few years, I thought when I tried my friends new gaming headset it would be a bit of a let down/down grade.
For those that don't keep up with the gaming market, the steel series is fresh out on the market and is proving to be extortionate value for the money it seems. What I got was a great experience that felt more like listening on my A7 monitors detail wise, leaving me a bit bewildered about the Dt100's I have. Maybe they arent so good afterall, or maybe I just don't like them. This has really prompted me to think about getting a really decent set of cans now, and maybe even this steel series headset as an all in one jobby! Off I go to the cans thread...!

, but these things were so light and comfy it's pretty hard for me to say no to buying a pair. Did you take the plunge on your new set of cans in the end Ermz?
