Faceshift, the Stockholm based metal band with our beloved drummer behind the kit, is in the studio at the moment recording their next album.
Yesterday, Stefan finished recording the drums for 6 songs!

Faceshift have now released the first single from their new album!

For those of you who'd like to know what kind of music they play, here are Stefan's own words about Faceshift's style:
"It's straight forward in your face metal with big melodic choruses and an Alice in Chains twist."

I have to admit, at first I hadn't been so interested in listening to the tracks because I thought (or had heard), the metal might be too heavy for me. I'm glad I did it anyway (everything for Stefan, haha!), because I really, really like the songs. Definitely looking forward to hear more.

Good news: Faceshift has added two live shows to their schedule:

The first one
When: Saturday, the 17th of November.
Where: Copperfields Fridhemsplan, Stockholm.
Time: from 20:00 till 03:00.
Free Entry!


The second one
When: Friday, the 30th of November.
Where: O'Learys, Södertälje.
Time: from 21:00 till 02:00.
Entry: 80 SEK

Here's a little update from the Faceshift camp:

1. The new Faceshift album is currently being mixed!
There's no releasedate yet, but we'll let you know when the news is out.

2. Next week, on Saturday the 2nd of November, Faceshift will play at the 'Old Gravediggers Inn' in Södertälje (near Stockholm) again - for the third time!
