Ken,

I can only assume you're bringing this in? I found the tracklist on Amazon France and there are some cool guests on here:

1. The Shadows Compendium (feat. Jeff Loomis) 5:17

2. De praestigiis daemonum (feat. Matthias IA Eklundh) 5:11

3. Spiritual Bliss 6:04

4. Duat (feat. Glen Drover) 5:56

5. Sorrowful Centruroide (feat. Derek Taylor) 6:03

6. Prophecies of Loki Xxi 5:32

7. I Think There's Someone in the Kitchen (feat. Daniele Gottardo) 4:36

8. Improvisation on Sonata No. 14, C Sharp Minor, Op. 27 No. 2 6:19

You can also listen to samples at Amazon France: [ame]http://www.amazon.fr/The-Shadows-Compendium/dp/B005WIK8X4/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1319129090&sr=8-9[/ame]

Here's the first fully released track:

Early reviews are very good, at least in score (they are all in French).

Listenable Records.

It's interesting that the background for that Youtube video says "Out now worldwide" but as far as I can tell it looks like it's not supposed to come out until next month.

Heh, I am using Chrome but I didn't know it had a built-in translation tool. I just read a few blurbs on Forte's Facebook that were all in French, but the CD got 18/20 and 9/10 scores. I'll have to check out the actual reviews though and see how the French to English conversion goes!

I'm not crazy about instrumentals but I still want to check this one out. Stephane leans more towards the classical and progressive side of music....so I just might be able to get into it.:)
