Aside from just ruling supremely, I've counted no less than eight references to heavy metal bands and culture in the course of the Report. And now his shred-off with the guitarist from the Decemberists (who was sloppy but was better than one would anticipate) is brilliant.

I just love colbert for the simple fact that he had the balls to get up in front of Bush and every media and polly in Washington and give a speech denouncing the government (in a roundabout way) at their annual media dinner.

Very clever, very brave, very funny.

Youtube is your best friend regarding Stephen Colbert. He did a speech at the Republican Correspondents dinner and lampooned all of the Republican Party as they sat there. Colbert can have my babies as far as I'm concerned.
