stereo audio drums into midi software

hey guys is there any software out there that can take an audio stereo track of drums and make them into a (gm) midi file??

obviously if it's just a mixdown of the stereo drums, it can't go into the stereo file and break apart the different drums, but if you have stereo multitrack drum files, then it's what you're looking for.

thanks man i was afraid of that....yeah im looking for something that will take a stereo audio drum file and convert it to midi... maybe its not possible

Thats kinda like trying to take the egg's out of a cake after you've baked it dude.

You might have some luck using eq to enhance a specific element of the kit and triggering a audio-midi converter from that. But I don't think it'll be easy.

KTDrumTrigger is free and has 3 triggers with 1 filter each that you can use to isolate the frequency area you need to trigger:

Not as avanced as Drum Tracker I guess but better than nothing...
