Anyone going to the upcoming Vai gigs?

I'm not really the biggest Vai fan and wasn't gonna go. I would have gone if tickets were around the $30-40 mark just to check it out... but not at $60. But I'm getting in for free now as Voyager (the Perth support) have asked me to do their lights for them. I might even get to hang out backstage. We'll see...

I would only see Vai if his entire set consisted of David Lee Roth and Whitesnake songs. Coz I have no interest in his other songs...

Friend of mine in brissy was a member of voyager for a short while as the keyboard player. You have to be in a veryyyyyyyy specific mood to listen to them and I dont think I am ever in that mood

a few people asked me if i was interested in going, and I said "yes", but haven't heard anything since. I guess things only ever happen if I'm the one organising.

For 60 bucks tho I think i'll give it miss anyway.

I'd be keenly interested to see Vai, McAlpine and Sheehan all together on the one stage, but I can't afford it.
