Steven Adler says that he knows nothing about a possible reunion tour or one-off event featuring the full classic lineup of GUNS N' ROSES. Earlier this week, GUNS N' ROSES fans went into "wild speculation" mode following the arrival of a new web site, GNR.fm, that appears to be teasing an upcoming product or event related to the band's classic "Appetite For Destruction" album. The site, which is registered to Universal Music Group, is displaying the message "DESTRUCTION IS COMING" along with the hashtag #AppetiteForDestruction. In addition, a billboard featuring the five skulls from the "Appetite For Destruction" cover art — each representing one of the band's original members — has shown up in the Camden area of London, also promoting the GNR.fm site. This has led to speculation among fans that "Appetite For Destruction" will be reissued in a special deluxe edition with plenty of bonus material, although there has been no official word to date on any kind of release. Some fans are going further, theorizing that the inclusion of the five skulls from the original cover means that Adler and guitarist Izzy Stradlin will participate in an event focused on "Appetite". Adler, who is set to celebrate the 30th anniversary of GNR's classic debut album by performing "Appetite For Destruction" in its entirety on an Australian tour later this month, was asked about the mysterious billboard during a brand new interview with Australia's Heavy. The drummer said (hear audio below): "I think it's just a billboard [promoting] a box set of CDs of the GN'R collection. I'm not sure, but that's what I think it is. If it's for the 'Appetite Of Destruction' lineup to be touring together again, which I have been playing for for 25 years, nobody's said anything to me. So I really don't know. But you're definitely gonna be able to see me play 'Appetite For Destruction' with an amazing singer and a great band in Australia. So that we've all got going for us." He added: "Until the other GN'R guys wanna get the five of us back together — whoever runs GN'R; I don't know — whenever they're ready, I know that I'm ready. And I am willing, and I'm set." GNR.fm has launched a countdown clock that is scheduled to hit zero Thursday night (May 3) at 9:00 p.m. PDT (midnight EDT). A link to the same web site, along with the identical message, was shared on GUNS N' ROSES' official social media channels. Neither Adler nor Stradlin have been part of the GUNS N' ROSES reunion tour that started in April 2016 and is continuing later this year with singer Axl Rose, guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan. Adler did rejoin GUNS at several shows on the tour, including three stops on the U.S. leg and one gig in Buenos Aires, Argentina, playing drums on two songs. Stradlin reportedly turned down a five-figure fee to participate, writing that the band didn't want to "split the loot equally." GUNS N' ROSES will return in June for a seven-week European jaunt, but the band's plans until then, and beyond that, remain unknown for now. Joining Steven on the Australian tour will be his newly formed ADLER'S APPETITE FEATURING CONSTANTINE MAROULIS band: Constantine Maroulis (vocals), Carl Restivo (rhythm guitar), Sean McNabb (bass), Michael Thomas (lead guitar). ADLER'S APPETITE FEATURING CONSTANTINE MAROULIS will make its live debut on May 10 at the Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, California.
