I saw alot of hard partying, headbanging people at the show this weekend. It seems awfully quiet around here so I'm guessing everyone is still recovering from the show? I never did make it to the hotel to hang out with everyone, I was just way too tired and burned out, it was a long weekend for me and I've got a long week ahead of me. I was glad to see many familiar faces over the weekend. :kickass:

I wonder just how many people are still nursing hangovers right now? I have a feeling a few of my bandmembers are as well LOL

Thanks for everything Rob & Chris, we had a great time! :)

I'm guessing there's plenty who are hungover, riding contact highs, discovering the soreness in their bodies, and nursing newly acquired sicknesses. Crazy-ass weekend, but an excellent time all around...

Since Mosquito and I didn't sleep last night, we are recovering from an acute case of jet lag and travel weariness for sure. I took a 3 hour nap today, so I'm set. Didn't get a hangover, thank God, but I definitely feel the fatigue all around, especially in my voice and my neck.

I actually was awoken by 2 toddlers and one infant this morning
(We had out of town guests this weekend).
Surprisingly, I wasn't too tired, though I didn't party or anything.

AND.. I didn't lose my voice during Nov Doom!!! Shocker!!!

I'd be posting more if I wasn't trapped in O'Hare. I've been here for just under 24 hours. Kill me, please.... btw

also...

I will reveal Paul's secrets...

...his blurry, blurry secrets!

I did! I have barely been able to talk to the last 2 days. I just can't keep myself from "growling along" with Paul on Dark World Burden! I think I was a little too loud, because people in the front row were turning around and giving me weird looks. For some reason, I just love that line that goes "I stand alone in the company of none". I actually use that part to "warm up" on my way to my band's practices all the time...

In addition to my cashed voice, I am pretty much sore all over. I feel like I've been run over by a truck. Two straight days of headbanging and partying until 4am really catches up to you. Then, my wife calling me up Sunday morning at 10am when she decided that "This is the perfect day to do yardwork" :( Nothing like being out in the sun all day with a shovel to cure a hangover:rolleyes:

Yeah, I commuted from home both nights (about a 1-hour drive). I didn't stay for after parties so that I could be awake for the drive home, and didn't drink *too* much either night so I could function the next day. And it's a good thing, because Saturday afternoon was filled with hauling mulch all over the yard for gardens and shrubs, and Sunday was for more of the same and mowing the grass. Any under-the-weatherness would have made those things really awful. So I was sad to miss extra socializing, but on Sunday when I was woken up by kids and was able to function well all day, it was worth it!
