The "Audience Music" episode featuring STONE TEMPLE PILOTS will premiere on Friday, May 18 at 9 p.m. PT/ET on the Audience network (DirecTV Ch. 239 or U-verse TV Ch. 1114 and via live streaming on the DirecTV and U-verse apps and DirecTV Now). A preview clip of the episode, featuring STONE TEMPLE PILOTS' performance of the song "Roll Me Under", can be seen below. Also available are a couple of behind-the-scenes clips. Since the concerts began airing in 2016, the Audience network has featured dozens of artists as part of the Friday night "Audience Music" series. The performances took place at Red Studios in Hollywood on two stages — an intimate studio stage and a club stage with a live audience. The concerts are shot in ultra high-definition/4K to audiences nationwide for the ultimate fan experience. STP's self-titled seventh studio effort was released on March 16 and is the band's first with new singer Jeff Gutt. Gutt made his live debut with the band last November in Los Angeles. The band recently did its first round of dates in support of the new album and will join forces with BUSH and THE CULT for the first time this summer for the "tri-headlining" "Revolution 3 Tour". The North American amphitheater trek begins on July 18 in Nashville and will hit an additional 19 cities over six weeks before concluding in Phoenix, Arizona on September 2. Each group will perform a full set in a different order each night. And I think the main intention there and the main thing we want to do is just play these songs. And play these songs for people that want to hear these songs. And Jeff has a good handle on how to put these songs across in his way."
