They have three heads in there that are priced below average...

2ch Triple Recto - $800
Krankenstein+ - $600
Krankenstein - $600

And, my personal favorite, an ESP Viper in Camo for $1099.

If anyone is interested in using me as a proxy to snag one of these, PM me!

always when Im fucking broke.

I saw a Tama Starclassic that was used but in good condition for 400 fucking dollars. FOUR HUNDRED. Shit retails for like 2 grand. Sick. I was sooooooo mad.

It's the Oxnard one - I go to school at Cal Poly SLO, but live in Ventura and am here for the winter holidays.

rock on

i lived in templeton/atascadero for a long-ass time and spent some time at cuesta...was accepted to poly when my wife decided to drag me back to the midwest with her =/

dude if you get a chance scope out the rec. arts classes at cuesta - the studio there is fucking LEGIT for the size of the school...HD2 rig with d-command, nice rooms, and shitloads of slutty mics/pres/everything else

No shit... I'll probably end up doing some classes at Cuesta over summers to speed up the Poly graduation, might have to use some BS GE credits on recording arts classes!

*Edit* 16 channels of API? 5 U87's? 5 Royers? What the FUCK is going on 5 miles from my dorm!?

haha...i know dude, it's nuts. i guess some old guy died 7-8 years ago and left the school a $2 million music grant, and a good portion of it's gone to the studio. they also have some fucking sweet instruments...3-4 ddrum kits, a steinway D grand piano, etc. etc.

the guy who teaches the classes is also a top-notch jazz musician and engineer - and is also the head of the performing arts division. he can act a little douche-y sometimes, but i think that's just a product of him having years and years of professional experience, and is a great guy to be in the good with if you need any sort of advice or recommendations for school/work in the future
