Finally I got the destruction dvd live discharge yesterday, and I have to say, it is the best dvd I had ever seen.
:worship: :worship: :worship: Destruction :worship: :worship: :worship:

I thought I would have it feb. 8th, then they said feb. 23rd(one day before my birthday), so I thought about getting it as a gift. Then march 11th I think, next thing I know, that wasn't a north American release date. So they said may 23rd, wasn't at the store. I checked until the end of may, because my subway pass was only good for may, and I didn't want to skateboard all the way downtown, but then in the site it said it would come out june 1st!, what bad luck!, I had given up. Yesterday I went and it was sold out, so I went to another store were they had 2 copies, I grabbed one along with a riot/death angel haul.

any stories?

Good to hear you have it now. A question; is the live show continious or is it broken up into pieces like the Kreator and Slayer DVD are?

3 shows make it up, but it is damn good, the only bad part is that the only 2 80's clips are in a screen within a screen for some reason.
Live annihilation?, I didn't know about that, I will think about skating downtow again then.

Thanks for answering but thats not quite what I meant. My control of the English seems all to imperfect.

What I mean is are there any interviews or other shit in between the live songs. Or is the live performance continious with interferance.

I think you got that confused a bit. Like TheSayer said the DVD is put together with shoots from 3 different locations and the tracklist jumps back and forth from one location to another. You know, track 1 is from A, track 2 is from B than another one from A followed by track 4 shot at C... Really no particular order except for the setlist the band wanted to have on the DVD. There are also some before/after the show and some on tour cuts thrown in.

So the songs are interrupted with other stuff?
Wait, lets make this graphical:

I mean this:

Example: 1)

<song1, song2> other stuff <song3, song4> again other stuff <song5 song6> etc

The above is baaaaaaad I don't want any shit in between the live performance of the songs. I like it like this:

Example: 2

<Song 1 song 2 song 3 song 4 song 5 song 6>

An uninterrupted live performance. This is very goooood!!!
Any interruption and I will NOT buy the DVD.
I am sick and tired of DVD with shit I MUST watch in between live songs!

Graphical:
it is somewhat like ...

song1song2otherstuffsong3song4song5otherstuffsong6song7song8and so on,

so it is half what you want, but its up to you man.

Naaa then I am not interested. I bought the Slayer DVD [War at the warfield] and the Kreator DVD and both concerts are broken up in pieces of two songs interupped by BS. Too bad. :(

I don't understand why bands do this. What could be better than a contious concert? We have better images and sound than ever and now we spoil the experience by breaking in on a concert! What could be more silly?

I don't really mind, but if there are enough people wanting a continuous show, they should include an option in the menu for that, I mean, the kreator had an option for continuous backstage only, now that is weird huh?

Yea! I noticed that too. Thats weird indeed why not the option for continuous show??? The Dimmu Borigir "World Misanthropy" DVD does have an option for continuous show. I mean the option is there, why not use it?

I yet have to see a better concert than AC/DC-Stiff upper lip in Germany. My most valued dvd though is a double dvd set of LED ZEPPELIN, one is a live concert at Albert Hall and the other is a mix of 4 concerts between '72 & '79, no bullshit inbetween.
Does System of a Down have any good stuff on dvd ? , I bought that fuckup druggedup concert in Holland - dvd, I didn't enjoy it , never the less I'm a hudge fan.
