According to a post at the official STORMWITCH website, band founder/vocalist Andy Mück has been left to carry the band name by himself, as guitarists Fabian Schwarz and Martin Winkler, bassist Dominik Schwarz, keyboardist Alexander Schmidt and drummer Marc Oppold have all decided to jump ship. The quintet decided to leave Mück to his own devices due to the vocalist's and management's unwillingness to let them take part in Stormwitch business affairs and a lack of transparency with regards to band finances.
The split comes mere months after the release of the band's comeback album, Witchcraft.
Mück has offered his best wishes to his former bandmates, who have decided to carry on as a five piece and are currently working on new material.
