Strat without shitty poti positioning?

Hi guys,

I'm currently GASing for a new strat.. But the thing I hate about strats is the way they position there potentiometers. It's extremeley annoying to bump my hand against them everytime I want to chug a huge chord.

Does anyone know a strat, (manufacturer doesn't matter) between 700 and 1400 euros, that doesn't have that shitty positioning? Preferably single coils and a rosewoood fingerboard

I had the same problem as you, so I ordered some parts from Warmoth and built it my self.

I'd prefer to not build one myself though...

Thanx. What you could do is buy the strat you want and just order a custom pickguard with the layout you prefer.

That seems like a pretty good idea! But isn't there a single guitar with the specs I'm looking for?^^
