Did you not hear about the split and the hiring of a female singer and all the ridiculous stuff that went on? Ah well....water under the bridge now. Can they recapture former glories though??

It's okay news I suppose. I thought all the stuff that went on was pretty awful and surely most of it was exaggerated. What really made me laugh was Tolkki and the whole Kabbalah thing!!
Seriously though, if they put out a decent record then I will be interested but I doubt they will. In their whole career I loved Visions, Episode and Destiny were pretty good and Elements part 2 certainly had it's moments. Apart from those and a handfull of other random songs they have not been anywhere near the level of brilliance of bands like Sonata Arctica who are IMHO far superior.
Kotipelto on his own however has put out two great records and I hope he continues. Still, I do hope Strato prove me wrong. I will stand by my opinion that the whoe split thing was publicity and nothing more though.
Also, now Kotipelto is back, does this mean their new album will no longer be called Popkiller?
