"Dear Stratovarius Fans and Friends,
We want to give you a small XMas present and so we present you 2 songs from the upcoming Elements pt1 album, which will be in the shops 27.1.03.
Songs are "Soul of a Vagabond" and "Find your own voice". We hope that you enjoy these songs.
Last days have been very busy when we have tried to rescue what there is to be rescued because of the downloading situation of Elements pt 1. It is no secret that the situation is extremely bad and that the vibes in the band are not very good because of this. We have received lot of messages from our fans, who agree with us about our right to our work. We thank you deeply and wish that we can make many more records for you guys.
We have received also lot of bad publicity, where we have been called with all kinds of names and we have been accused of being greedy. This is truly sad and we can only say to these people that you don´t understand how bad the situation really is and that we own both moral&legal rights to our work. Nobody can take that right away from us. And it is true what they say that through the tough times you get to find out who your real friends are.
Nevertheless we wish you all happy and joyous XMas and great new year 2003!!!
