Striker opening for Metallica in Canada

Pretty cool actually. Striker won a contest that the prize was to open for Metallica at a show. Great break for the band. While it wont make them a huge name but a cool chance for someone who never knew of the underground and stuff to look into other bands.

Voltax also opened for Metallica a few weeks back in Mexico. Nice to see smaller bands getting a shot in front of a large crowd.

Maligno opened for Metallica in Mexico City on the first leg of the Death Magnetic tour.
Cool that Metallica is doing that.
Wish they would do that in the States or at least bring out bands that influenced them.

Hard to say how many people will research Striker, but I agree.
Still cool for them regardless.

Striker got to open for Metallica on both their Edmonton AND Calgary shows, both sold-out stadiums. Super proud of my mates! They are the hardest working metal band in Canada now and they are dreaming big! Hard to believe that the clowns I used to sell guitars and go to music school with are actually making their dreams come true, right on.
