Struggling with achieving separation (drums, drum vstis)

No matter what I try, my drum sounds always seem to fall flat, and smear the stereo image. I feel like it's something really simple that I'm overlooking or doing incorrectly, so I would really appreciate any insight anyone could provide.

Really? I just tried and it worked fine on my end. Downloaded, played and all.

Right click the download button and copy link location. Paste it into the address bar and delete everything after ".mp3"
