tonight...stryper...air tight...flawless...heavy...better than both kreator and vader from the show the night before[and they bothed owned]...and then...they wrecked it....a prayer at the end...a reaaaaaalllllllllyyyyyyyyy long prayer....and seemingly a foolish one....yes...i was let down at that point...but point bien....stryper....go see em....

Stryper are really good musicians and had some really good tunes on the first couple of albums. As for their religious lyrics, I couldn't care one way or the other. I hate just about 95% of the metal lyrics I hear anyhow, completely. What I can't get past though is the fact that I don't like Michael Sweet's vocal style much. I think his vocals made the music wimpy, moreso than their lyrical approach. Plus image-wise they looked silly as hell.

And I don't think I could stand that whole long prayer thing at the end. Nothing against that sort of thing, but that's not what I go to concerts for.

I don't think I could conceivably rate Stryper over Kreator, even during the "Endorama" period lol

i seen em back to back nights...as good as kreator was...stryper sooooo destroyed...my mind is perfectly in tact...and ill unashamedly back my stryper claims on my front porch if any of you wish to take this matter up further....

The Darkness is the best worst band ever.

Any band that has a singer with really bad teeth and dresses like Freddie Mercury, while screaming lyrics like "You cunt!" and "Give it up fuck!" in a high male falsetto over Thin Lizzy riffs, is pure entertainment for me!

As for Endorama, yknow I actually thought I was going to like it from all that I read about it when it came out, but I was kind of disappointed by it when I finally did hear it. I didn't like the Renewal album at all back when that came out either, but now years later I can appreciate it a little more, so who knows maybe Endorama will grab me someday. I tend to be more of a Terrible Certainty/Extreme Aggression-era fan.
