Suggestion for front page!

Yo guys, just thought I'd suggest either moving the player to somewhere else OR having it sitting on pause for default instead of play. Going to the page while I'm at school or work without headphones tends to be ...loud =)

Actually I was at work, and being at an insurance company doesn't phase me whatsover as I used to work for one. =p

School I would care a little less about, but still.

I'll talk to our webmaster to see what options we have
for the front page player. It started off on the "Downloads"
page (still there) but he thought it would be cool to put it on the
front page as well (along with quick news blurbs underneath)
so people could hear tunes right of the bat. Anyway, I'll see
if it can either default to pause mode or if there is a volume
control that can be set lower.

Either that Chris, or pick a song to start things off with that has a real quiet intro that builds up as the song goes along .. then someone can hear it coming and turn their speakers down. I did that with the first tune on my myspace page so it wouldn't spook me when I went to my own site.

I second that....I didn't realize the player had been added and checked out the webpage at work and it was blaring through my speakers. I was just glad that one of our tours wasn't in the office. For whatever reason the volume levels between Windows media play and the Powerfest player are very different. I love it loud but I was anxious to check out the webpage for updates that I couldn't wait to get home to surf.

Here's a suggestion.
Why don't you keep the volume off when you are at work or school?

Because my job is totally reliant on being able to hear audio through my speakers. =p
