My favourite thrash bands of modern times doing the retro thing. There is no one better than these Greek fucks IMO. The perfect mix between old school Slayer and Sepultura. If this band doesn't make you bang your head then nothing will!

This band rules. Not sure if I'd lump them in with the whole retro thrash thing though...they've been around a while and have something of their own going on! I had no clue they're putting out a new record. Highly, highly recommended to any thrash fan.
