Wow, I forgot how good this record is. One of my favorite 80's metal recordings. The guitar tone is so perfect ...and it goes to show you dont need to detune to write a heavy song. I wish more modern metal bands would play in E.

Recorded at Cherokee in Hollywood. Anyone have any stories about this album?

most of the songs i write are in E, i don't get why most bands detune these days. if you want a lower sound just get a 7string (IE nevermore).

I hate to tell you this dude, but Nevermore tune down a half step as well as use a 7 string.

I didn't like that ST album so much; I loved Lights, Camera, Revolution, & The Art of Rebellion. Mike Clark is a monster.

so is Rob Trujillo on those albums, especially on Rebellion....Paul Northfield knows how to get a monster bass tone.
Robert definitely is, too. People who only know him from Ozzy & Metallica need to get some ST & Infectious Grooves education. :D

lights camera revolution and art of rebellion are classics!

how about Infectious Grooves? one of my fav 90s bands :)

I worked with ST (and PN) back in the late 90's. Those guys were super cool. Football, football, and more football (the American version) was all they talked about between takes. I still have the SUICIDAL shirt that they gave me, which Mike and Dean made themselves in their garage.

:headbang:

I thought Lights, Camera was such a step down, and that Trujilo's funk metal slap bass influence really ruined the band. They had their Infectious Grooves side project ...why did they need to put funk songs on the Suicidal records as well? Sort of defeated the purpose of having a side project.

Art Of Rebelion was just seriouslly horrible.

I'm with this dude, totally.

Rocky George, though... :worship:
