SHOW WITH VANDEN PLAS

Yesterday, the band opened up for Vanden Plas in Zoetermeer. The show went great and the audience seemed to really like Sun Caged's show. The guys had a blast. There were lots of people walking around wearing Sun Caged t-shirts and there were fans from the UK, Germany and even Israel (!!) who flew over to see the band play. This gave the band a great boost just before entering the studio.
The band had a great time hanging out with Vanden Plas and talked about possibly doing more shows in the future. Who knows!
THE ALBUM

It's getting closer! Dennis will start recording the drums for the album next weekend, after which Marcel will lay down the guitar tracks. This will take place at Studio Moskou in Utrecht, The Netherlands (known for recording band like Within Temptation, Orphanage and Frozen Sun). Bass, keyboards and vocals will be recorded at Joost's home-studio after that.
There is no release date set yet. The band are aiming for early summer. You'll be the first to know!
HEADWAY FESTIVAL

As reported earlier, Dennis has set up a progressive rock/metal festival for April 4 and 5. The Headway festival promises to be a big international gathering of like-minded music freaks, as well as offering some of the greatest bands in the genre. Dennis and his colleagues aimed for booking as many bands as possible that have never or seldomly played in Holland before, and succeeded quite well.
The line-up includes: Pain Of Salvation (Sweden), Freak Kitchen (Sweden), Zero Hour (USA), Prototype (USA), Bumblefoot (USA), Sun Caged (Netherlands), Sahara Dust (Netherlands) and many more bands.
