5 years late...Why not just get a N64 emulator or a PSX emulator. And the dreamcast emulator that is set to come out soon.

I've been playing this games in emulators since 4 or 5 years ago. Not only Mario, but also any snes game.
But lately it looks like most of the rom sites from where i downloaded all the games are not working anymore. Luckily i've got most of them burned in a cd.

ROM sites come and go like there's no tommorrow, they get shut down and the same people jsut reopen othersl ater... its neverending, im just wondering when nintendo old school stuff will beome public domain

Actually I think a new DMCA provision allows the use of old console roms to be distributed. So those roms are now legal.

The best place to get ROMs is P2P networks, as ROM sites get shut down within 5 minutes of opening

Your right, I actually got ahold of a file of about that many ROMs, and about 400 of them were hacked... some of the mario/sonic hacks were awesome!
