So I'm sitting here in my hotel room in Japan, and I turn the TV on and I see Marty Friedman being interviewed on Japanese TV. Very weird...

I was hoping to see a video or something with Marty, but no luck. Some band called the Arctic Monkeys played. Definitely not my cup of tea.

Man I miss Japan. Believe it or not, Marty is a huge celebrity there. Hell he even had (has?) his own show. What's weird is that he is so fluent in Japanese. I used to hate it, because most Americans would answer in English with Japanese subtitles, but I could never underdstand Marty's interviews since he spoke Japanese. Paul Gilbert was the same way...
