Just caught this thing on IGN PC, I think that huge volume knob could prove very useful for audio work, and the numpad is modular, so you can put it where you want. keys light up, has usb inputs on it. also, a sweet little 6-button keypad for macros etc... about $110.

Could be cool if your control room was modeled after a Mech cockpit :erk:

EDIT: Haha, just realized it actually says Mech on it.

yeah, it looks kinda whatever, but it has a bunch of useful features, it also is spill resistant and has channels for liquid to flow. i wouldn't mind that since I usually keep a huge glass of water near my shit.

i've been using the same $10 wal-mart keyboard for like 8 years or something. i like the way the keys feel, but it's finally starting to have the W stick when gaming, which is a NO-NO.

Gamer hardware is funny. They all have a 90´s badass design and have names of weapons of mass destruction. This month I bought a mouse called "Razer DeathAdder", but there was one in the store called "Cooler Master Storm Inferno Laser 4000" (seriously!).

Anyway, I always liked this Dell keyboard:

It´s a no-nonsense keyboard. It´s big where it has to be big and small where it has to be small. Classical buttons layout (I hate when they mix the F buttons), no wasted space on the borders, big spacebar...

Using Logitech G15 v2 right now, pretty happy with it, wouldn't change it. Plus, gives me some programmable keys easy to reach, after some tweaking, speeding up my editing process a bit.
