I've been fans of these guys since I saw them at ROSFest back in 2005. I picked up "Artificial Paradise" and it has been a staple in my collection since then.
Sylvan recently released their new album with a new guitarist and definitely got a little more crunch in their progressive rock. Personally, it is one of my top albums of the year so far. I don't think there is a bad song in the bunch.

As I said before, tho, these guys are solidly a progressive rock band, so those who are mainly power metal fans probably won't get much love here. But I think those who liked Riverside might like these guys as well.
