Synths used?

I've got to say, a thing I love about Joey Sturgis productions are the synths used - especially in To Our Forefathers, where they don't take center stage, but definitely add an awesome sound to the song. Does anyone know what synths Joey uses in his songs? Thank you very much!

Haha, nice. I use Reaper, so there's nothing like that really built in. I have Massive on my computer right now, and it's got some nice sounds, but I feel like they can be too complex at times.. sometimes I wish I could just pull the sounds out of my dad's Triton LE to the next of me. Is there a soft synth with some more "basic" sounds?

By the way man, I love what you do!

You could check out fm-8 or absynth
those are some really awesome soft synths that i have looked into.

I recently purchased Spectrasonics Omnisphere (Spectrasonics Product Website). There is some really impressing stuff on it and i still didnt check out all the functions. Its massive and sounds good.

nick probably remembers the name of that vst synth i used for a while, had a gate section and was gray GUI

if it were grey ...and had a gate section, it was probably refx nexus or vanguard. (which rule hard, btw)!

Haha, I've got a lot to check out.... but I need decent sounding drums, guitar, and bass before I get too wrapped up in synths.
