It helps, to me, that this was the album that got me into SOAD, might be different for most of you older guys.

I was a big fan of SOAD when I was younger and now I can't stand to listen to them. It's just too over the top and annoying to me. I don't get what people find appealing about this band.
this record is my adolescence. this and rage against the machine's s/t, anyway. i remember being impressed with the way mezmerize and hypnotize cases fit into each other.
and now i have to spin it again to see if it holds up.
