Sytem of a DownSyndrome sound awful live. Their studio sound is clearly digitally manipulated to the max. If they start singing in Armenian I might buy their next album.

I kinda disagree. I saw em live last year in Melbourne at the Forum and their sound was top notch. Very loud and VERY METAL.

yeah system of a down will always get a lot of hate, just cos they are huge, goes with the territory once you make it big.........

but if the above are the options for the catagorey, system win hands down, none of the others do anything much, audioslave are still the biggest disappointment ever, take two incredible bands, and merge them into one giant long winded fart of an act

i'm biased i love system of a down, think they are awesome at what they do, as fer longevity, they got chucked in with the nu crowd, but they didnt belong there, so they ride well above the decaying carcasses of nu metal acts....be around for as long as they want to be now........

My feelings on System are kinda up and down - but I def think they have had a very good and productive year. Mesmerize sizzled my bacon, where as Hypnotize didn't, but the show I caught over the summer was really good.

Fantmas rules, they don't get much respect in the US, but than again most good bands don't including Anthrax.
