Tacoma Narrows Bridge Disaster

With a name like "Tacom Narrows Bridge Disaster," you might expect them to be from the US - nope, they are actually from the UK. Also, with such a name, you might expect something different - yep, you'd be right. Atmospheric at times and pounding at other times, their approach is mostly instrumental, but some vocals are included. I particularly like the drumming. Probably too far off the radar screen for most people's taste, but I like it.

I just crossed the Tacoma narrows bridge yesterday so when I first saw this I freeked out!!! Strange a band form the UK would use that for their name. It is a very cool bridge in one of the most beautiful places in the country. I sure hope there is no disaster any time soon!

They named themselves after that monument to flawed science that what you traveled on replaced. The music is great. But, the video of that spectacular collapse was legendary. I am just wondering whether there will be a decision to change the name of that band if they come stateside.
