where in chicago at the house of blues ? i know i missed one of those shows. they came twice it seemed really close together.
It was probably the house of blues. I don't know though, I only saw the Ohio shows.
The first time I saw em was pre-WCFYA when they toured with Ripper-fronted Priest...they played Superhero on that tour.
Then I saw them at the Headbanger's Ball show at The Agora in Cleveland with Godsmack on May 1st, 2003. MTV was supposed to be there filming it for the first episode of the return of Headbanger's Ball but that didn't happen.
Then 2 weeks later on the 15th, they were back at the Agora with Motorhead. I know Ripper was in the crowd (he lives here in Ohio) and got up and did Madhouse with them as an encore. I think this is the show where they busted out Taking The Music Back but it might have been the Odeon show. They also did 1,000 Points Of Hate and Black Lodge at this show.
They played at the now infamous Alrosa Villa in Columbus on that tour. They played Crush that night and teased "Lone Justice" for the first time and announced that they would finally play it on the next leg of the tour (there was a huge campaign on this forum - back when they used to care what we had to say)...but they rubbed it in Columbus' face that they would not be back in Columbus on the tour.
Then at the Toledo show (yeah, the only time they ever played Toledo in their entire career), they busted out Cadillac Rock Box which was awesome.
Then they played the now-defunct Odeon in Cleveland. Lone Justice.
The last time I saw them was also at the Odeon in Cleveland, with Dio and Fireball Ministry. It was for GOTE and had Joey Vera on bass. They busted out Whole Lotta Rosie by AC/DC as an encore.
