Yes. Mr. Theart does a great job on that very good song. This new Tank is one of my most anticipated 2015 releases. And for the purists, yes, it doesn't sound at all like the Algy Ward-Tank, but that's only for the better IMO. Excellent melodic metal now.
British heavy metal legends Tank return with their tenth studio album, Valley Of Tears, their first album release featuring the vocal talents of former Dragonforce frontman ZP Theart. To complement ZP’s vocals Tank now have one of the best rhythm sections in metal: Bobby Schottkowski, formerly drumming with Sodom and current Blind Guardian member Barend Courbois on bass. Together with Mick Tucker and Cliff Evans on guitars they ready to take another big step forward in the evolution of the band.
Valley Of Tears is due out on September 25th. Check out an official album teaser below.
You gotta check out that Valley Of Tears album. It's now released and it's excellent stuff all over. Tank (along with Saxon) is one of the very few old bands whose latest albums (the last 3 for Tank, 2010's War Machine, 2012's War Nation and 2015's Valley Of Tears) are their best, or as good as what's considered their "classic" stuff. IMHO of course I do understand that there has been a huge change of style for Tank (for the better as far as I'm concerned) and that some older fans say that the current Tank is the not the real Tank, that Algy Ward is Tank, and no other... But I don't give a damn... For me, newer Tank (Mick Tucker/Cliff Evans version) is producing the best music of their career.
