Legendary German alcohol-soaked thrash metal act TANKARD is currently working on material for the follow-up to its acclaimed 2014 album "R.I.B. (Rest In Beer)". The band will enter Gernhart Studios in Troisdorf with producer Martin Buchwalter (DESTRUCTION, ACCUSER, PERZONAL WAR, SUIDAKRA) in January 2017 begin recording its 35th-anniversary disc for a mid-year release via Nuclear Blast. "R.I.B. (Rest In Beer)" entered the official chart in Germany at position No. 41. The video for the "R.I.B. (Rest In Beer)" title track can be seen below. The clip was filmed in March 2014 under the direction of Jan Öhlenschläger in Frankfurt. "R.I.B. (Rest In Beer)" was released on June 20, 2014 via Nuclear Blast. The follow-up to 2012's "A Girl Called Cerveza" was recorded at Studio 23 in Frankfurt, Germany.
