Check it out! I played guitars and did the recording/mixing/mastering. I also composed all the orchestral stuff.

I didn't compose the songs though, it's all the singer/guitarist who is only 19 years old!

Epic stuff! It sounds like what Immortal + Dark Tranquillity + Dimmu would come out to be.

What a bunch of assholes. Seriously, who releases something this awesome but only as a 6 track EP? Catuvolcus play a sort of black/folk metal with progressive touches, picture Enslaved meets Ensiferum. On top of being jerks, these guys are obviously well trained in the art of mind reading as well - in each song just as you're about to think to yourself "Ok, enough blast beats" they bring out some outrageously epic sounding melody or acoustic guitar segment. It would take some kind of moron to not check this out.

BTW, thanks for the disc! :kickass:

No problem man :kickass:

We'll be recording the album next summer (6 songs are already done), and we're still hesitating between programmed drums or real drums...If we find a good drummer, we'll probably record real drums, and we're very interested about recording them at your studio, since we would like great sounding natural drums ( to give a rawer black metal feel )...We checked it out last week and it's about 10h hours in car, so it's not that bad :p. We'll see how things go first though, we still have to find a good drummer :erk:
