Driven by an intense and fiery passion for music, CYNICIST continues to progress. Since their raw and aggressive EP in 2011, the band has independently released it’s full-length debut “Cynicist” (self-titled)– which has been published, performed, marketed and distributed independent of any involvement from a record label. The 13-track debut epic (released on October 4th, 2013) was forged in the metal foundry of Jon Howard (Threat Signal, Arkaea, Vice Versa) located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada – Woodward Studios. The album was produced, engineered and mixed by Jon Howard. Mastered by Alan Douches of West West Side Music (Killswitch Engage, Misfits). Band logo, album art, and album typography by Colin Marks (Sylosis, Jeff Loomis, Whitechapel) of Rain Song Design (http://www.rain-song.co.uk/) based on the band's original concepts and illustrations by Saxon Pierce. CYNICIST is currently working on their sophomore full-length endeavor, “Cynicist II”.
